What's the big deal with waxes? Aren't they all the same? I've heard that all I need is a good Carnuba.

Wax 101

A Wax is a wax right? Well sort of. "Wax" whether synthetic or carnuba in form, provides protection to your paint. As detailers, we take great pains to clean your paint of foreign debris, remove impurities so that it will feel glassy smooth to the touch, remove scratches or swirls that detract from producing strong reflections, adding polishes to enhance the shine, then sealing that in with a wax so that your paint will continue to look its best rain or shine.

Face it, you bought your MINI because it was a FUN car. It's also an attention getter that speaks volumes about yourself. Whether it's fully modded or completely stock, there's nothing like driving a MINI that's sparkly clean, shiny, and looks just detailed.

But who has time for that? Unless you're utterly obsessed with the MINI as I am, and are willing to make time in your life to keep your MINI looking its best regardless if it means cleaning off your wheels 2 or 3 times a day, you probably do a lot of "settling" with what's "good enough".

Leave it to another crazy MINI owner to start a business to keep other MINIs looking just as great! While I won't go so far as meeting you at your house when you return from work everyday to clean your MINI, we can arrange weekly cleanings, and monthly buffing if you'd like.

Remember, once you've gotten a good coat of wax on your MINI, it'll be a lot easier to wash! Dirt won't stick as easily and you'll have protection from the elements, but it's not a bulletproof shield! Bird poo, if not washed off within seconds or minutes of being deposited on your MINI, will etch the clear coat, and will have to be buffed out to correct.

Waxing is one of the easiest ways to protect your finish, but it's also only the last step during the 5 step paint polishing that I do to each MINI! The other 4 steps are crucial to achieving that show car finish!

Check out this 4 month old MCSa that never had been waxed. I gave it the full treatment and the results were spectacular!
