Sometimes a detailer has to realize that not everyone sees all the defects and flaws that he sees, and that's a good thing. |
CASE STUDY #7 This MINI had been partially repainted. I noticed the botched paint job while looking for the reflections from my work. I asked the owner about this, and she admitted that they had gotten a great deal on the paint job compared to other shops, and they never even noticed the difference until I mentioned it.
Cobwebs readily show up on black paint. They are easy to remove with a PC, but it does take some upkeep to always keep it like this. The two pictures above composited together shows the striking after/before image. In order for the owner to keep this shine up day in and day out, she needs to invest in some good MF towels, NXT Speed Detailer, and a good car cover (Since this car isn't garaged)
