Sometimes a detailer has to realize that not everyone sees all the defects and flaws that he sees, and that's a good thing.

CASE STUDY #2
"Sometimes Good Enough Really Is"

This MINI had been partially repainted. I noticed the botched paint job while looking for the reflections from my work. I asked the owner about this, and she admitted that they had gotten a great deal on the paint job compared to other shops, and they never even noticed the difference until I mentioned it.

Bug splatters couldn't be removed with any cleaners even after a thorough washing, so the rotary came to the rescue.

All in all, the paint was in excellent condition, and really required only a good washing, minor paint cleaning, and a good coat of wax. Oh and yes, those really ARE chromed 5 Star Alloy wheels. Seems the MINI was purchased without the Chome option, but the dealer chromed the wheels.

The owner was very pleased with her "new" MINI!
